My daughter has been in and out of treatment for the past few years with little success until now thanks to New Horizon Recovery. This was the first treatment place who truly helped with my daughters needs of substance abuse and mental issues. The staff was wonderful. The counselors are great and family sessions really helped me understand my role in her recovery. The houses are beautiful and my daughter is sober and happy. Recovery is hard for everyone involved but this place really knows what they are doing. They got my daughter sober, taught her how to stay sober and helped her get a job. Go here!!!! It's a life changing experience!!!

New Horizons Recovery saved my life. The program director Tina was my lifeline while waiting for a bed. She called me every single day to inquire as to how I was doing. She explained the process in a professional manner and told me that my needs would be taken care of. While not knowing Tina personally the day to day contact helped me feel like I had made the right decision prior to entering rehabilitation. While being admitted I was immediately seen by an MD who was with me for quite some time and answered all of my medical questions. I was then seen by the program coordinator Nora who answered all of my insurance questions and explained the program to me very patiently. Upon entering I was immediately set back by the beautiful decor and functional floor plan. The property was immaculate , the interior just gorgeous. It is in a gated community so I felt very safe. I had never been in this type of residential treatment facility and was expecting a different, more hospital like ambiance. Boy was I wrong! There is an onsite gym. laundry facilities, large backyard with a BBQ and the lush landscaping creates a private holistic type setting. The house manager N is the most giving, helpful, knowledgeable person I have ever met. He assessed my needs immediately and let me rest since I had not rested much before I arrived there! He is a master chef and prepares nutritious and delicious dinner every night! I know that he wants to make the residents happy so I can only imagine the prep work that must be done to create such scrumptious meals night after night. He is what holds the house together~the "glue" if you will. On staff they have psychiatrists, psychologists, addiction specialists, counselors, yoga/meditation instructors. Weekdays are filled with groups along with one on one counseling where I have been able to really get to the core of what led me here, what I am doing now, and steps on how to make it in the outside world. EVERY member of Tina's staff is professional and knowledgeable. This is an individually tailored program so my problems are discussed in a quiet private setting where I can feel safe. I went to Betty Ford in 1992 and New Horizon's is MUCH better. They treat the mind, body and soul and recognize what your issues are so that you can become whole again...I feel like the old Lisa...I love Tina and I do not know what I would have done had she not picked up the phone. New Horizons is the best of the best and I would personally recommend it to anyone who needs help...

New horizons is a great place to recover from addiction. Everyone has their own room so you can have all the privacy you need and there is a gym on site. The counselors are very caring and do great things for their patients. You can tell that they are genuine, which really makes a difference when you are trying to change your lifestyle. There is so much support and best of all, no judgement. I am also super grateful that they were able to bill my insurance. The doctor and psychiatrists really helped me with my depression and addiction. I was able to see a variety of therapists including family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and addiction counselors. On my 1 on 1 sessions, they gave me as much time as I needed. My family participated in weekly sessions which really helped me get that support I needed. New Horizon Recovery is all about community interaction. Every evening we went to meetings in the community and the house manager helped me find a sponsor that was compatible and could offer me a lot of help in learning the 12 steps. You should really check this place out, especially if you want some interaction in the community and a great physical component to the therapy program. New Horizon Recovery has it all!

New Horizon is a great place. you see therapists everyday and lots of good meetings in the area. the private room is awesome. The family therapy sessions were really helpful, especially for my mom. serious hiking to get us physically motivated. this is a very supportive environment. My anxiety and stress improved so much in the first few days because of all the therapy and kindness from everybody. if you want a good rehab, this is it.
